How our Camping TOILET Works ?

When the mountains are calling you, you want to be prepared to answer that call with durable, reliable and easy-to-use gear that’s going to make life outdoors more comfortable and more sanitary. Our camping TOILET makes it easy to go off grind, off road and out in nature without having to worry about where you’re going to go to the bathroom.
What Is a Dry TOILET?
No electricity? No running water? No problem! Our dry separating TOILET makes it easy to travel to even the most remote locations without having to worry about chemicals, holding tanks or dump stations.
Our TOILET’s innovative design separates waste into two containers, liquids and solids. This waste, when disposed of properly, can be turned into compost. The system is easy to use, easy to transport and built to last.
Parts of Our TOILET
Our no-nonsense system takes the smell, mess and struggle out of using the bathroom outdoors. The BOXIO TOILET consists of a separator insert, a urine canister and a solids container. You’ll also need some compostable bags and HEMP litter to make sure you’ve got a clean, odor-free experience on your next outdoor adventure.
Separator Insert
The separator insert is what divides the solid waste from the liquid waste. We tried out seven different designs for our separator before we were sure that we’d created a product that was clean, comfortable and compact for life outside.
Tip: Easily remove the separator from the box for quick cleaning and maintenance!
Solids Container
The solids container collects the solid waste and keeps it separate from the liquid waste. Line this container with a compostable bag and add HEMP litter to prevent odors and absorb moisture. The HEMP litter also makes it easier to compost the waste.
Tip: Clean your solids container often and regularly change out your compostable bags!
Urine Canister
The liquid waste ends up in our specially-designed urine canister. Separating the liquid waste from the solid waste keeps odors down and makes cleanup easier. The urine canister can be used up to ten times before emptying. We recommend emptying and cleaning your caister every 2-3 days to prevent odors.
Tip: Water your garden with the urine mixed with water at a ratio of 1:10!
How to Use Our Camping TOILET
Set up your TOILET by folding up the separator, lining the solids container with a compostable bag and adding a handful of HEMP litter.
Use the TOILET like you would use a flush toilet.
Throw your toilet paper into the solids container or dispose of it separately.
Shake a little HEMP on top of the solid waste to absorb moisture and prevent odors.
Remember, leave no trace. Dispose of solid and liquid waste according to local health and safety regulations.
